Maybe my favorite feature of Long Beach that’s no longer there. Built in the late twenties it was unique; a pier in the shape of a rainbow, framing the municipal auditorium downtown. I remember it well as a favorite diversion on the way home from Downtown. “Dad. Drive around Rainbow Pier!” It got filled in in the sixties. Rainbow Pier
