A snake in the grass

 Literally. A Texas indigo snake.He was a little hard to see. But the one in the road was easy!   Back in the grass. Indigo snakes are a southern specialty.  They eat small mammals, lizards, frogs, and other snakes, including rattlesnakes.  They’re our longest native snake.  The Texas variety grows up to eight feet long!
