Turns out I was right all day long. It’s my birthday. I decided we should go look for Aplomado Falcons today. Turns out that was a good idea (even though we didn’t find any falcons). Then I thought “Why not drive over to the Island and take a walk on the marsh boardwalk.” Again, brilliant. We saw pied-billed grebe.
