The bougainvillea was getting out of control for the spot it’s in. I kept letting it grow because bougainvilleas bloom on new growth. I wanted to see it bloom when it finished its growth spurt. I gave up and cut it back, but I didn’t cut off any of the long branches that had started to bloom.
So it ended up looking a little goofy as a small bush with a few long spikey wands; flowers on the ends. But I got my flowers.
