It’s a neat little goose. 
It looks like a Canada Goose but it’s smaller and has a stubbier face. Here it is in the same frame as a Canada Goose. 
The Cackling Goose is not common in the lower latitudes. Except in Lubbock apparently. Who knew the Cackling Goose was a year-round resident in Lubbock city parks! 2018 May Colorado Trip Here’s a thing.
