Black-tailed Gnatcatcher
Tiny little thing.
Way smaller than a house sparrow.
And a long-distance shot of a gilded flicker. In the shade.
Not quite calendar-worthy. The closest I got though.

Got to spend some time with Austin and Alexandra too
Austin is a Junior in high school. Old enough to drive. Talking about where to go to college and what to study. A great contrast with the little ones.
