Kent and Ruth live in Seattle.

We met up in Colorado this trip!

We’ve known Kent since the 1960s.  We used to live close enough to spend a lot of time together when the kids were little.  It’s always a treat.

I’m led to believe those traditional Dutch windmills are called “mills” because they were used for milling grain.  And wind turbines are “turbines” because they’re generating electricity.  Then what are those icons from the American west called; those things with blades that spin in the wind and draw water up to the stock tank?

Puff the magic dragon continues alive and well in Becky and Brian’s yard.

We’re at St Vrain State Park for a week.

We’re a 20 minute commute from Becky and Brian’s.

Warm days.  Cooler nights.  In the 50s instead of the 80s.  We can camp out!
