A few photos from last weekend in Estes Park and surroundings.

Trail Ridge Road was open to Rainbow Curve, but closed after that for some reason.

The road beyond was open for walking though, so we did.

Yesterday we drove back down the mountain to St Vrain State Park (…and Teigan’s graduation ceremony).

Teigan graduated from High School today!

She has been home-schooled by Becky for several years.  She wasn’t in a class at an institution, so she got her own graduation ceremony.

food, and badminton.

Got a high-country rain shower that included a little hail.

And Audubon’s yellow-rumped warblers galore!

Last year a momma elk with a calf decided I needed to learn some respect.  Well, we’re back in Estes Park, the scene of last year’s confrontation.

Can I find another elk that wants to kick my ass for no reason?  Maybe this one?
