It takes all the timing pressure out of television. Don’t want to spend time at the television right when something interesting is on, just DVR it and watch later. Don’t want to watch live and sit through commercials, DVR it and fast forward through commercials later. But DVR isn’t perfect. It will only tape two things at once. Set something long to tape, like a football game, Formula One race, or golf, and it really limits other choices. We’re left setting priorities and monitoring skips to make sure we get what we want. A severe first-world problem. When the DVR in the house broke though, and we got a new one, we got the Hopper instead. First-world problem solved! The Hopper can record up to six programs at once. Not a capacity we’ve ever pushed. It appears to have so much memory that we’ve never gone much above 30% full. Which all makes me wonder if the DVR in the bus is going to break anytime soon….

Friends
Out driving around checking out state parks we haven’t been to yet, September 2018 trip map and at Inks Lake, we see this bus parked in the campground.
We don’t often see motorhomes with dragons and koi painted on the sides.
So we stopped, knocked on the door, and surprised our friends Jim and Wendy.
Life on the road and the surprises it brings!

Life on the road and the surprises it brings! Sexual assault
Of course Trump mocks the testimony of a sexual assault survivor. That’s what he does. But what of the clapping cheering supporters at his rally while he does it? What to make of them? A whole room full of ….. I can’t come up with an appropriate word to describe them; them that would clap and cheer while a woman suffering from abuse is abused again.
