Bittersweet

To balance the excitement of the book launch, against the backdrop of what triggered the book in the first place.

Lindsay knows of what she speaks.  In addition to her personal experience, she’s a practicing therapist, with an advanced degree and work in suicide prevention and addiction.  She has this book plus a weekly podcast dealing with these issues. She wrote this book as a resource for those in need who are reaching out for help, and for those dealing with the loss of loved ones.  Lindsay spoke.  Matt spoke.  The publisher spoke.  Lindsay spoke again.  It was a good launch.  The book is available on Amazon.

The next step is to get the book to 100 Amazon reviews which will advance its exposure to the next level.

Book Launch

Lindsay’s book about dealing with overdose, suicide, trauma, and grief launched today.  The get together was held at the community building in their neighborhood.  A good turnout of fifty or so supporters.  Some speeches and remembrances.  Not exactly a fun time, given that it’s the four-year anniversary of Alex’s overdose, but excitement about the book, and plans underway for the next one.  It’s late tonight so I’ll probably write something about it tomorrow.
