Monday

We dry docked the land yacht in Pipe Creek, Texas.  We drove home to Sandpipers in the Jeep.  I learned something.  Did you know if you peel your hard-boiled egg under running water it helps lift the shell off?  No little pieces to fight, it all just lifts off.  It makes life so much easier, but it took me this long to learn it!  We had a cool moth at Jeff and Carol’s.   Haven’t figured out what it is yet.

Jeff and Carol’s place

We think the bus looks good here. They got this property about a year ago.  They’ve been clearing, planting, creating trails, feeding birds, feeding deer, and trying to protect their new plantings from deer….        It’s a great place to hang out.  It’s full of birds, full of deer, and home base for explorations all over the hill country. Tomorrow though, travel day.  We drop off the coach for a repair and head back south to Sandpipers in the Jeep.

Oh no!

Daylight Saving Time starts Saturday night/Sunday.  We already have light late.  Now we have to make even more of it?  Why can’t we just have time the normal way; the sun directly overhead at noon?  It gets light when it gets light.  It gets dark when it gets dark.  Why does that need messing with?
