  The demo crew.  Their work was done in a day.    

  We have two patios, and we love them both.  The lower patio, in front by the pond, gets full sun exposure until the afternoon.  It’s a great place for coffee in the morning, but a little too warm mid-day in the summertime.  The side patio under the awning is cool and breezy, but a little small.   Thanks to Forrest and Kim at Johnson’s Greenhouse, we’ve got some ideas about how to improve both.  We can expand the border of the lower patio, add a little “interest” in the plantings, and add a water feature.  We can expand the side patio.  Here are the “before” pictures.

  Really, I’m just wondering is if we have a healthcare crisis (the cost of delivering services), or if we have a crisis in how we’re paying for it (health insurance companies).    

  We’re suffering migration withdrawal.  Every day for months we’ve been able to go to Paradise Pond in the afternoon for an hour and get twelve, or fifteen, or twenty migrants.  Now we go and get one or two.  Help!  We need more birds!
