Black-bellied Whistling Ducks

Looking confused.

I though this shot was kind of cool.  The duck came flying in from the right of the frame and plunked down in the water.  (He’s not floating, by the way, he’s standing.)  When he hit the water, he made a momentary mini meteor crater.

A cold, misty, rainy, blustery day

64 degrees outside when we got up this morning with the temperature sliding down to 54 during the day.  Poor Freddy.  He’s home, but it’s so cold for him he doesn’t even want to be in his puddle.  He’s tucked into the lee side of his fountain for protection from the wind.

A little warmer tomorrow, and back in the 80s by Thursday.
