Very plain looking large dove.
The name refers to the white tail-tips, that don’t show in these photos.
We don’t get them in our yard. We need to go to one of the wildlife refuges to find them. Every kind of dove has their own distinctive call. We can recognize which dove is around, even when we don’t see them. White-tipped Doves make a soft sound like someone blowing across the top of a bottle.
Cute little things. Distinctive coo, so we can tell they’re in the neighborhood even when we can’t see them.

Taylor’s flat in Goring on Thames is on what we call the second floor of this building, the Midland House.
(In Europe, the first floor up is called the first floor. The one underneath it is the ground floor.)
Taylor is all settled in.
Becky and Brian are off to their flat in York for the next month.
