It was 46 degrees this morning in Las Cruces
The temperature at Becky’s house had a 4 in it as well, but only one; it was 4.
We drove to Arizona.
We didn’t encounter any dust storms, but they certainly prepared us for the possibility!
Here is today’s temperature and humidity.
It’s a little dry.
We’re at Roper Lake State Park.
We love this little desert park.
Maybe we need to get Jesse a bigger bed.
Or less stuff.
I need to invent something
We watch pickup trucks pull fifth-wheel and travel trailers into RV Parks. To level the trailer, these travelers often must disconnect from the truck so they can level the trailer front to back. Even if they’re just stopping for the night, they have to unhook that night and rehook the next day.
So here is my invention: Install hydraulic suspension, like the lowrider cars in California that can bounce up and down, in the rear of the pickup truck. Then, without unhooking the trailer, raise or lower the back end of the truck until the trailer is level. No need to unhook. Problem solved. Life is easier!

We’ve driven to warm weather.
Today’s high in Las Cruces, New Mexico: 76 degrees. Today’s high in Erie, Colorado also has a seven in it: 17 degrees.
Jesse can’t seem to stay in her bed when she falls asleep.
We weren’t in Colorado long
But while we were there, we got a chance to walk in the Loveland Sculpture Garden.
Still in Albuquerque. This evening, we got to visit with Shannon, our Albuquerque Partner. Always a delight.
Conner the Runner!
Distance: Half marathon (13.1 miles).
Conditions: 24 degrees and snowing.
Number of participants: 80.
Target time: 1 hour 30 minutes.
Time: 1 hour 35 minutes.
Result: Tied for 6th overall.
This wasn’t a fund-raiser run, but Conner wanted to raise some money for cancer research, so he took pledges, exceeding his original goal of $100 by an order of magnitude. He made a good run, and he raised $1,000! Congratulations Conner!
