Along the way

A covey of California quail.  Mom, Dad and the kids.    And now our way has lead us to Battle Mountain, Nevada.  Clark’s Park. 2015 summer trip map High desert.  Warm and dry, but not too hot now.  Still some smoke in the air, but not too bad.  We may be dealing with summer forest fire smoke the rest of our trip.

More family

Judy’s Cousin Janet. She was at our wedding fifty years ago.  Haven’t seen her very often since then.  We’ve never lived close by. We got to go to her (and her husband Peter’s) house outside a neighboring Nevada town for lunch.   Good to keep in touch with family.  A lot of catching up got done.

What a difference a day makes

We’ve spent the last couple weeks in the hot California Central Valley.  High nineties during the days.  Mild nights.  Warm mornings.  Now we’ve moved on to Truckee though. 2015 summer trip map Coachland RV Park.  It’s nice here. Maybe a little tight. We joked with our neighbor about getting our slide out before he did.Just room for both. Here’s an interesting way to carry a runabout.Maybe they ask the neighbors to help lift it up onto the rack…. High, dry, alpine air.  Warm during the day, and very cold at night; in the low thirties. Happy September everyone.
