Wednesday

Today I learned about Agile Methodology, using Excel to make my data talk, painless performance feedback, raising financial IQ, and a 75 minute recap of the entire conference.  I think I’ve learned enough for this week. Last week in the RV Park, we learned this kind of branch is called a candelabra …and at the end of this particular candelabra branch is a hole. If you wait and watch that hole long enough, a little face will peer out. ….and check the surroundings. If it’s safe, a chestnut backed chickadee will pop out …and fly away in search of more food for the kids. …and return with a nice fresh worm for the family.

Tuesday

I’m a full-day more educated today than I was yesterday; except for the stuff I used to know, but forgot today.  I wonder what the net change was. Anyway, nothing from the conference that seems like something I should pass along, so I’ll say something else; something about the chestnut-backed chickadee, or lighthouses, or the boat, or the loons and grebes we’ve been seeing. I think I’ll do the lighthouse. Of course, there is a lighthouse here.

Today

Today I’ve been educated; but only virtually. Yesterday however, we took another walk in the woods.      We took roads less traveled. …and found a nice sunny beach the locals hang out at. Complete with a rock face for climbing up and jumping off. Pressing on.  …we found a nice overlook for lunch.

Oops

I’m going to attend a three-day continuing professional education conference in Washington, D.C. starting Monday.  I don’t need to fly there though, I’m going to be a virtual attendant. That seemed like a really good idea when I first thought of it.  We were in the Central Time Zone then.  Since, we’ve move two time zones west.  Now I’m attending classes that start at 7:30am, but I’m three time zones to the west. Oh well.  Considering that the other option to attend would be to fly to Washington, D.C., attend in that time zone, then fly home, I think I’ll be fine with getting up in the early morning dark to sit at my computer for a few days.
