Usually he’s satisfied with lying on the floor outside the shower at night while I’m in the shower. A couple nights ago though, he whined at the sliding shower door until I opened it. He stood there looking inside for a while then walked right in with me. He walked a lap around my feet, getting soaking wet, then stood at the still open door looking out until he decided he should wait out the rest of the shower from outside it. Judy gave him a good rub with a towel, but he still had to go to bed damp that night.
Hummingbird feeders
They’re all hung with care. 
The fall migration has begun. Our best count/estimate is that there are seven at our feeders each morning while we have coffee. Three buff-bellied. 
And four ruby-throated. 
The buff-bellied are residents; they’re here year -round. The ruby-throated are the migrants. Neither variety has any respect for our personal space. Sitting and talking on our deck involves occasional ducking and dodging the little flying darts. So far, no injuries for either them or us. With any luck we’ll have in the neighborhood of thirty hummingbirds at a time during the peak. Migration will last the entire month of September.

The Mazda sits so much without being driven that I’ve had a couple issues over the years with it not starting. I decided to buy a portable jumper battery to carry in it. The new generation jumper batteries look like this:
