Annie’s vocabulary evolves. A long time ago, she starting having a bad reaction to the word “bath”. She didn’t necessarily mind the actuality of the bath, but she would shiver at the mention of it, so we started spelling it. She learned that. We switched to referring to it as “going to see Melissa” the groomer. She likes Melissa, but learned to associate her name with the dreaded bath so we had to make up a new reference. Last week Annie had a “balloon ride”.
