Cold weather on the beach
We were here in 2004 for the only snowstorm ever in Port Aransas.

The first White Christmas and the first snowstorm on the same day! What are the chances?
Today, we woke up to icicles on the fountains! No snow, but subfreezing temperatures.
The forecast low for tonight is 22 degrees! 22 degrees on the beach?
We’ve got the fresh water tank in the motorhome full and the outside hose disconnected. We turned off the smaller fountain, the Palm Tree, so it won’t freeze and burn up the pump. We left the bigger fountain, the Spilling Pot, on so it won’t freeze. We’re ready.

The building was damaged by the wind. There were some cars below damaged by the building.
