Baby Coot
Momma coot was there in the pond next to our property, just outside the reeds, clucking and finding little bits of stuff to bring to her baby.
The baby was hidden in the reeds.
Couldn’t quite see him, but we knew he was there. Then he came out a little for a goodie.
Finally, the cute little guy came out of hiding; right out in the open so we could get a good look, and OHMYGODTHISTHINGISHIDEOUS!
Update
72 hours after knee surgery, the leg-wrap came off.
Judy is walking without support and is on the bicycle doing full revolutions (with her leg). 96 hours after surgery, still some swelling, but a remarkable recovery underway.
Yard bird
A Hooded Warbler popping about the pots and gardens at Gulf Waters.
He’s been here for three days. He even came in the house and Judy had to put him back outside. Here he is on the flowers:

And then… the Easter Bunny stopped at our house. We found this on our porch this morning!
